How's the true local
I always thougth local.ch is the true local, but after I read the add below I'm not sure about this. Probably local.ch is just a fake! ;-)

@ 25.03.2007 11:01 CESTI already read the story about google and truelocal over in your blog. But as long as I understand the hole story, the two companys will just exchange date. the brand truelocal will still exist in the future. They print a lot of pages with add's in the local free, weekly newspaper. They're often rumors about google going print, but I think they are not ready (yet).

Well, as a matter of fact truelocal will vanish soon. The company behind it - News Corp. - just launched together with Google maps.google.com.au.
I was myself in Australia recently and had a good laugh about truelocal. For Switzerland I think local.ch is the original still ;-)
